i recieved my credit card bill and noticed an unauthorized bill for the billing cycle and when i called the credit card company to explain the bill to me they told me that this was a purchase made from a credit reporting agency. the agency's name and number was also on the bill. i was told i had to contact them. after several attempts to reach during their regular office hours, 8 a.m. - 8 p.m m-f (recording said office was closed) i finally got through around 9 a.m. i spoke to one of their customer service representatives and was told that i authorized payment of services which i am sure i did not.
after a few minutes of going back and forth with the customer rep, she informed me that my request for a refund would have to go to the billing office first to be disputed and that i would recieve an e-mail. well, of course, i was not content with that answer. i requested to speak to someone in billing directly and was denied access. i requested a copy of the agreement i supposedly had authorized and didnt get that either. all i got was a promise of an e-mail of the decision regarding me getting my money back!!!
