SE Talent Search/CD Models and Talent: BEWARE PARENTS OF INFANTS AND TODDLERS! Mount Pleasant South Carolina

What I have to say about them is that they are not 100% honest. Yes, they rush you. Yes, they charge you for everything (and more than they should). But what I have to say is for those parents of 0-3 year olds. NO! Do not be coersed as I was. My son was a year when we finally went to our event and not a single "agent" was looking for any children under the age of three. I spent over 1500 for a dinky plastic trophy. 

That is not all. You pay a lot in the beggining, but if you pay by a certain deadline you get your first photoshoot free! Wrong again. They pick the date and time and if you work or are out of town, you are out of luck. Secondly, the price you pay included classes! Oh wait, small print "for children, not for infants". Let me clear that up for you: you pay what children who are actually getting something pay. This is unfair, but my son is quite the looker, so I signed up anyway. 

Nothing. No phone calls, no iquiries, no emails unless it was to purchase more products and remind you of the ONE event you are paying for. This one event mind you, that you have to stay overnight at because it is a rediculous 2 day adventure (especially with a 1 year old who didn't walk yet), is a waste of time. You do your events on the first day, then wait till the second day for call backs! Exciting! The next day, you only have a few call backs, but they let you know they are only looking for 3+. Three and up? The Dueger couple fails to mention that not only did you not recieve any help getting ready for this event, but you didn't need to because obviously they do not cater to younger children.

It was not just my husband and I who were dissapointed. Most of the parents, besides a set of twins, got nothing and the same response. Another mom and I both in tears cannot believe how naive we were or that we trusted this company at all. I got more response from the 1800 online modeling I signed up for for a lot less.

If you are like me, then you do not have a lot of money to burn on whimsical dreams that your kid might enjoy having his photo published to look back on as an adult. Do not use these people if you are looking at modeling young children. There were a lot of call backs for the older children and adults, but I do not know for sure.

SUMMARY: Not for anyone under three. Save yourself the heartache and the deflated wallet.
