I've been working for sears almost 12 yrs., I have seen alot of changes in the years working there. new managers, new techs., & new rules. Never had any issues with management until close to a year ago when they changed managers. They were on you every minute about punch in practice, lunch breaks, why did it take you 20 minutes to get to your 3rd. call. For awhile I to thought we had airplanes to run calls. Technicians managers were writing technician up more often.
I went to a cust. call to repair their appliance. The call was collect call , but cust. said the have a home owner insurance policy. The cust. called the home owners insurance and said they only owe $35.00 deductible plus $24.00 back fees. The insurance company said this amount must be collected today. I told him that the call had to change so I could charge cust. the correct amount. I was tranfered over to sears cust. relation & said call will be recreated over to you with deductible & insurance infomation. The call was recreated with no deductible & sears cust. relation told me to collect the $59.00 and give a receipt to cust. any posible way I could. The only way to collect to was to put it on tech. add on to give the cust. a receipt. But this is a commission paid area. I believe its 6% , but I wrote it down in my tech. comments that i put 59.00 in tech. add on to collect the companys money & did not want the commission. the managers did not want to hear any excused & fired me.
