#1 UPDATE Employee
Tire warranty

Goodyear is responsible for their tire warranty and mileage guarantee. This is not Sears' Auto Centers responsibility. The tires you are speaking of have a 40,000 - 65,000 mile tread life warranty depending on the size, speed rating of the tire, and the load range on the tire. It is a performance all-season tire (i.e. meant for sports cars <performance> cars). If you are used to getting more than that out of a performance tire, please tell me which one you have put on your car in the past. The tread depth on performance tires, such as the Goodyear Eagle GT or Eagle RS-A, is very low...as in there is a low rubber to void ratio. This allows ALL of the tread to be in contact with the pavement and therefore wares down faster. If you have a problem with the mileage warranty on the tires, you need to contact Goodyear, as they are the company backing the warranty...not Sears. If you would like a contact number for Goodyear's warranty line, contact your local Sears and the number will be provided.
