I purchased a "cam stick", a small video/audio recorder sold as a "spycam" type of product. All was well as far as their e-mail communication, shipping, etc. Then the product arrived and it was slightly different than was featured and described in their video and in their written product information.
I emailed them, to simply ask if this was the latest model because the video they produced warned that their were previous versions of this product out there that were inferior. Since my product looked and operated differently than what was shown, I was concerned that I had gotten the older version of the device. The quality of video and audio recording was not as high as they show it to be. I described to the owner (Bill) every button, word, etc on my product that differed from the one shown. He basically answered that I was stupid and he did not have time to read my long e-mail so he claims he read only the last paragraph. He went so far as to call me a moron....
His basic response was to question my IQ, stating that thousands of customers had been satisfied and that I was the ONLY person out of 10,000 who had ever had a complaint. Which of course is not true. After signing on to ripoffreport.com I see that there are others.
I have never in my life come up against such an angry, agressive person. I am not returning the product just because I refuse to have any more contact with this man. His e-mails are unbelievable. He is in dire need of some anger management courses.
I am out $124.00 but I guess that is a lesson learned the hard way.
I should have known when reading the operation instructions (written by him) that came with the product, that he had issues. In the directions he states several times that loading the videos onto the computer was basic computer 101 knowlege and that if you had trouble loading them, you should get a 12 yr old to help you !!! He is insulting and condescending right off the bat, long before you ever have any dealings with him.
