On March 23,2009 a car driven by (((REDACTED))), crashes into my garage door causing total damage to the door and some rear damage to my 1972 Chevy Elcamino ( The car I use as a Model for my Business,
"Big D's Classic Custom Muscle Car Restoration"). (((REDACTED))) calls her Insrance Broker (((REDACTED)))of Modesto,CA.) to report the accident. The Broker gives (((REDACTED))) a Claim adjusters# because thats who will handle the claim. (((REDACTED))) calls March 24,2009 to report accident to Claims,"Monique Castruita", and gives her all the information that was required, Her Policy, Owner of House #,add,ect. and owner of auto(myself),# ownership, Lic Plate#...Then waited for Monique to call her back, and proceed from there. 4 Days later, no phone call from Monique, (((REDACTED))) tries to reach Monique, all that day without any responce at all, So, not knowing what else to do, (((REDACTED))) goes to see her Broker at her office. (((REDACTED))) gets Monique on the Phone and tells her that (((REDACTED)))has been trying to get in touch with her, and to please return her call about her reported claim. Monique asked (((REDACTED))) why does (((REDACTED))) need to talk to her, (((REDACTED))) told her that the owner of the car needs it to drive to his business (work), and Needs the car out of the garage, Monique asked (((REDACTED)))"Can't the insureor give him (Me), a ride to work", (((REDACTED))) said "No", and Monique then asked " Can't the insureor loan him (me) her car to go to work, Thats when (((REDACTED))) said "Thats not the Point, these people need to get their car out and the garage door needs replaced". Then Monique got really nasty on the Phone, and said she needed to send in the report and she would call (((REDACTED))) with a claim #. That was on April 11,2007.
She never even filed my claim or sent in the information (((REDACTED))) had given her and she was given all the information 18 days prior. Then, I phoned my Landlord (((REDACTED))) to ask him if the Insurance Agency had contacted him about the damaged garage door, Monique, never called him. Monique never called any-one about the claim because she decided she was taking a week off, for unkown reasons.
Every time we called her,left messages..... she never called back. (((REDACTED))) Insurance Broker had to call for to get someone from that Agency and have them call me back, Then, Without sending me a damage estimate for my custom car, or allowing me to get my own, I recieve a check in the mail for $900. That is a total insult, but I let it slide, But I refuse to accept a $250. Check for my loss of use from March23, until May 5,2009 ( The day I was able to get my car out of garage) The car is not only driven to work daily M-S, it also shows customers my work, it's the Business's Model displaying my custom work on muscle cars. I no my rights, and I have lost money , not only did it hurt my business it also caused me to drain my pockets paying for 2X $ in gas for my ride I had to aquire for myself to and from work 6 days a week. If Monique Castruita can't handle being a claims handler than she needs to not represent a insurance co. I will tell everyone I know that Sentry Insurance Co. has lame excuse people who work for them, not to buy that insurance or Viking Insurane because it is owned by Sentry. I feel that Monique Castruita is probably going to pocket the rest of the $ owed to me for the loss of use ,in her own pocket.
