Service Foods & Jefferson Financial Blue Ribbon Foods, H-Sons, Inc., Southern Foods, Inc., Southern Foods at Home SERVICE FOODS & JEFFERSON FINANCIAL ~ LIARS & UNETHICAL Norcross, Georgia

I contracted for a home delivery service from Service Foods in August 2008. In order to get the discount on the food I had to purchase some appliances. Originally I was going to get a water filtration system, but when I found out they were going to cut into my granite I told them I didn't want the product. Service food (Garlin) offered to give me pans and cutlery in lieu of the filtration system.

My problem started when I rec'd past due notices before I rec'd the cutlery and pans. After several calls and emails I was promised by Service Food (Garlin and Stephanie) that they would correct my bill with Jefferson Financial and send me out a new bill. I continued to receive incorrect bills, but started to pay for the cutlery in April 2009; I made 5 payments to JF but stopped when I notice my balance was not changing. I have copies of emails I have sent and rec'd from Service Foods stating that they would correct these issues. To this day they have not sent me a correct bill, and the only way I got a call back from Garlin was when I sent in the complaint to the BBB. I rec'd one call telling me that he would correct the bill and give me 10% as long as I could show via bank statement that I had made the 5 payments. I did and that was back in Oct 2009. I continued to copy the BBB on anything I sent or rec'd from Service Foods. 

I contacted BBB a year ago and just went through Arbitration. The arbitrator stated that he felt my issue should have been with Jefferson Financial not Service Foods that is why I asked if these companies were owned by the same person. Garlin stated under oath that Service Foods and Jefferson Financial are not owned by the same person. Garlin said he would settle for me paying the current balance off minus the interest and that Service Foods would write/pay off the interest to Jefferson Financial. 

I have found through research on the internet that they are indeed connected. They have the same address on certain sites, same Owner/President/CFO, Keith Kantor, but their paperwork states differently. They have 2-3 different addresses, I can not find a business license for Jefferson Financial, and some of these businesses are inactive, yet they have websites where you can order from.

Several blogs, manta, & the Secretary of State Business search are a few of the sites I searched. However, I have also found complaints similar to mine on ripoffreport.com/food and complainttv.com/financial.

These companies all seem to be connected Service Foods, Inc., Blue Ribbon Foods, Inc, Jefferson Financial, H-Sons, Inc. Southern Foods, California Food Plan, Inc. Colorado Prime.    

They have to be stopped, we as consumers need to pull together! These companies are harassing and scamming people out of their money and they need to be held accountable for bad business practices. I have spent 2 yrs trying to get correct billing and now they are threatening to sue.
