Recently, in 2016 I contacted the co-owner, Mrs. Shannon Farrell, from Shamrock Farm to see whether customer service had improved before posting my experience.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Two years ago I purchased an unscented bar soap from the company. When I opened the package, I received the bar soap and a sample, and I noticed 1) I immediately had an allergic reaction 2) they were too hard and dry, and 3) both had a sour smell instead of goat's milk similar to a goat's milk bar soap purchased from other businesses.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             That same day, I emailed Mrs. Farrell informing her about my experience after opening her product. She apologized, and suggested that the scents used in the sample soap must have caused a reaction, and stated that she would immediately issue me with a full refund following on from her conversation with me.                                                                                                                                                                                 Two hours passed by, however, the promised refund did not appear in my PayPal account, so I filed a complaint through PayPal. I advised PayPal I already had disccused my reasons with Mrs. Farrell as to why a refund was requested.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             I then contacted PayPal to inquire why I didn't receive a refund and one of the customer service representatives advised me at the time to in the future, explain in detail the reasons for requesting a refund.                                                                                                                                                                   Recently, when I emailed Mrs. Farrell to inform her that I might publish my experience online to help prevent this to happen to future clients and outlined the incident to her, I did not receive a reply. I then telephoned her on the number provided on her business website to ensure she had received my email. But when she agreed to read my email while on the phone, the call was immediately disconnected.                                                                                                                                                                                                               Shortly thereafter, I left a brief voicemail message and email stating that the call must have been disconnected. I never received a reply.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       I hope my review brings about positive changes, and that future clients may have a better experience with this company as a result.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           Regards,                                                                                                                                                   Former customer
