But that's only the beginning. Back in December 2011, Shanel Cooper Sykes (SCS Media) charged people between $1,500 and $6,000 to attend a retreat that NEVER HAPPENED. What makes matters even worse, she has FAILED to pay dozens of women back for this event. Regrettably, all monies were processed through paypal. She stalled, pretended like she was rescheduling and caused the paypal 45 day refund timeline to expire. So now all of these women are out of money. Many however are filing lawsuits, but its taking alot of time.
Additionally, she has failed to ship books for $40 dollars or more. Some have waited for her Sitellots in the Kitchen book since 2009. Many more are still waiting for their Women Habits book that was supposed to ship back in Oct 2011. [continued below]....
Shanel's last Christmas 2012 video explaining the delays and business problems was basically a slap in the face. She implied that the universe would provide refunds and that people simply shouldn't ask.
