Seller offers a free three-day trial. I signed up and canceled (i.e., requested cancellation) the next day, via email. They never responded, and began charging my PayPal account each month. I let it go the first month, and just kept the service. But it's been now three times. They don't respond to my emails. As of now I have done a PayPal complaint.

Multiple refunds made already; misleading complaint

The Customer Service team at Sheetmusicarchive.net was disappointed to learn of Mr. Ted J's subscription problems. Mr. J signed up to our free trial at least 3 to 5 times on the same day using multiple email addresses and IDs, an act which we were forced to investigate and fix through PayPal anti-fraud processes leading to a delay of several weeks in handling Mr. J's complaint. Our analysis has revealed an abuse of our free trial system through multiple signups and PayPal account delinkage and email substitutions that Mr. J apparently made after joining the service.
We did receive and respond to his complaints. Furthermore, as part of our customer satisfaction guarantee, we did issue Mr. J refunds through all of the accounts we could locate. At first we believed Mr. J's side that his multiple free trial sign ups were errors made in good faith, but given the largely misleading complaints he has made so far we cannot be 100% certain.
Mr. J has continued to file additional public complaints. While we respect Mr. J's free speech rights, his complaints have NOT been fully accurate and we are posting the results of numerous account searches and REFUNDS made without Mr. J's input, at least that we could find. Thus we feel compelled to defend our reputation publicly and are hereby posting payment and refund records related to Mr. J's account. Free speech does not include libel or slander and we feel some of these comments have been wildly inaccurate and grossly misrepresentative; we work hard to satisfy our customers and when problems happen, we fix them.
It is not our policy to handle customer service issues through public forums and have given Mr. J numerous opportunities to help us resolve his issues. Furthermore it has been exceedingly difficult to communicate with Mr. J because he signed up multiple times on the same day using different email addresses and IDs.
We are very disappointed that Mr. J makes it seem as if we intentionally charged two PayPal accounts of his as if it were our fault. Mr. J did in fact break PayPal's customer service policy by creating multiple sign up IDs; such an action is like using two different names for the same credit card company to open multiple accounts. It is a FACT that PayPal requires a unique email address for each account, meaning Mr. J did in fact sign up at least twice using two different email addresses registered with PayPal; furthermore, it is a FACT that is a violation of PayPal customer service policies and anti-fraud policies for a customer to have more than one account whether as a person or as a "doing business as" label as a company.
Our payment processor is PayPal and we have a record of NUMEROUS refunds made to Mr. Jackson already, including on August 6 when he presumably complained we did not respond to him. Furthermore Mr. J has supplied us with several names, addresses, email addresses and web addresses to contact him as well as cross-referenced identifications, including:

If Mr. J would like to help us resolve these complaints in a respectful fashion, we will be happy to resolve these complaints to the best of our ability. However, we have been transparent and forthright in handling Mr. J's account issues, issue due in large part due to actions by Mr. J including multiple sign ups under many different IDs, and feel it is very unfair to be cast as less than cooperative in working with Mr. Jackson to solve these issues.
Following are records from Mr. J's FIRST and SECOND accounts which we located after our Anti-Fraud team compiled a cross-reference analysis of various IP, signup and transaction control records requested by the Customer Service department.
If Mr. J wishes to discuss these issues at further length, he should CALL us with his complete account records and we will handle these issues. We have provided transparent records and cannot respond to his misleading public complaints any further.

After reading about this complaint (good job, RipOffReport.com!), sheetmusicarchive.net emailed me and apologized for the oversight and asked me to remove this complaint. They said that they would correct all overcharges. It turns out that sheetmusicarchive.net was charging TWO PayPal accounts each month. Whoever emailed me asked me to email them back and let them know the charges so they could credit them. I happily emailed them back with the information. About three weeks ago. Since them I have heard or seen nothing.
Sad. To blemish their reputation for thirty dollars. I'll chalk this up to a bad experience, but I will not forget about it. And I'll certainly be more careful in the future.
Shame on you sheetmusicarchive.net. I'll let everyone know to be careful about dealing with you. Because you certainly are not interested in correcting your mistakes.
