We were building our new home on Marco Island and the builder had a list of vendors that he was using.

Shell was one of the vendors for lighting fixtures.

We made an appointment and went there with our plans.  The proprietor reviewed plans with us and indicated fixtures that were needed.  We selected and paid for fixtures.

At the time of installation we were told there were three extra exterior laterns.   We returned lights and were promised a refund.  At that point we were told there may be a restocking fee but we'd work it out later on....because up until that point proprietor couldn't be nice enough!

"Later on" when we sought our refund we were told there was a 50% restocking fee and a $35 per light shipping fee and that they would only issue an In-Store credit.  So we have been issued a $50.79 credit on three lights that cost $333.00

I asked for my lights back and were told they had already shipped them back.  Really!!!

At this point I have a worthless credit because I would never step foot in that store again and they have my money that I paid for the lights and now they have my lights.

So customers beware.

we are not a vendor we are a retail  store

customer signed invoice for said lights and agreed to the amount of fixtures a signed invoice from them is with our lawyer as we speak it is a binding contract a signed invoice is a contract between the parties

there is a sign in the store that tells of the restocking fee and ship charges that alone is binding

her husband said ok on the restock did not come back for a month  she is very angry and unhappy person did not give us a chance to work it out demanded we  do this " pronto"  her word not ours who uses words like that

we  did a lot for this person but it is not enough she just wants more

we have been in business for many many years you try to make every one happy but sometimes you can not

wish this did not happen but she is hard to deal  there are always two side of every story

every one she has written to has closed her case with no negative impact to us

she is just trying to slander us and she put that slander in writing to someone already that info is with our lawyer

husband agreed to a store credit

it is $80.00 she does not have the facts correct

at first she was ok with that  now she is not

we  have a great company and people do loves us we have great products and low prices we can not be out priced

sorry she did not wait she would be very happy today
