My husband went to a promotional dealing at Bates Nissan, in Killeen Texas. They were offering prizes if you get the winning number from the promotion from the mail. The Sales person provided my husband with the gift card. The sales man felt suspion about it himself but it was part of the promotional deal from upper management. They had no idea that it was a gift card scam until I bought in all the paper work to show them what happens. The gift card provides www.shoppingCardstore.com to active the card, Then it asks for your debt card to store your information. Then it will say you been the $1000 customer today we will give you an unlimited of $1000 more on the gift card. My husband not understanding what can happen online purchase items up to $60.80 then later that night when i got home I questioned it and went to a bank account and show that it was taken out of our checking account. On the website when i printed out the paper work it said, www.yourgifts.com. When you go to the gift card website somehow the internet brings you to the other website and it allows you to put in the gift card number in the front, and pin for the password. After you purchase the iteams it tells you can on sent an email if you have any issues to service@selectyourgifts.com and you do not get any response have you purchase the items, and no response when you ask them to cancel it within 24 hours. My husband and I had to contact our bank to cancel his debt card and put our checking on high alerts due to this scam. Please read everything all terms if a website doesn't have any numbers to call redirectly, or the address to a shipping turns out to be another company please contact e Better Business Bureau and ensure that the company giving you these cards are contacting the Authorities about this matter.
