Shore Mortgage keeps cutting my loan payment checks in half and returning them. This is the second check that has been returned to me cut in half. I get a letter two days before the mortgage payment is that they cannot apply it to our loan. Santa Rosa California
*Consumer Suggestion: Shore Mortgage
This is the second check that has been returned to me cut in half. I get a letter two days before the mortgage payment is due saying they cannot apply the check to our loan and are requesting a new payment. It looks very suspicious like they are trying to extort a late payment fee from me.

There is so much fraud and corruption going on in Michigan.
There is a group operating out of Oakland County Michigan responsible for most of what has happened to this once fine state. They are targeting (for now), MI, NY, NJ, MY, MA, FL, CA, WA, AZ, NV, NH and TX based on my research going back to 1999.
Anyone in the above states, pay attention to who's on the payroll of this gang. They will defraud you!
I suggest, review our Michigan LARA www.mich.gov/lara (Licensing and Regulating Affairs) Online do a business search about Shore Mortgage; look at the Articles of Incorporation; Identify the individuals involved in not only Shore Mortgage but others as well; Identify what those individuals have done to others in your situation (take advantage of Google Scholar)
Telephone calls are useless. Asking for any help including from the State is useless. It would be like you complaining to your jailer.
Prepare yourself by informing yourself before you get railroaded.
