I purchased a large media console table with iron frame and solid wood in early Sep 2013 and my order did not deliver to me until Nov 18, 2013. I understand furnitures manufactured in overseas take time so this does not bother me as much yet throughout the entire 3 months, you cannot talk to a live person to understand the status of the order. I left message on their customer support but no one called me back. When I finally received my media console, they had a trucking company shipped and simply dropped my 230LB furniture on front door and the driver told me, they were told not to move inside the house. The outer carton is all damaged/rugged already. The driver told me normally there'll be enough buffer tin side the carton to protect the product but he is OK for me to add a comment in the packing sheet to state " box with damages, consignee to inspect" with signature. While my family worked to move the monster to my living room, we find we get broken wired iron doors. We took pictures of all the damages and requested Sierra Living to return the whole thing. First of all, the customer service 866 number can never talk to a live person. It'll always ask you to leave a message. When I log in my problem in their customer support website, one sales rep did call me back and promised to take care of the issue. What I have afterwards is simply changing hands to another customer support rep who also promised me to solve this issue yet she only exchanged emails to ask for more information from sending damaged pictures to show her the receipt and notes from the truck driver which to me might be fair to assess a workaround solution. She then asked me to provide a dimension of the product and said this is a "custom" product??? Give me a break, this is NOTHING a customized product but simply pulled from their website. However, I still measure the dimension and sent email to them. Now this sales rep said she'll turn this case to another service rep and ever since I heard nothing for 2 weeks until today 12/16/2013.
This is an expensive stuff but what I have now is broken monster sitting in my living room and no one bother to even call me back or follow up with an email to state they're working on it!
If you can, let people know Sierra Living Concepts are a horrible company to buy from. The moment you placed the order, the nightmare begins. I plan to also file a claim and work with my attorney to pursue legal action.
They do not even deserve a star. This company needs to be shutdown to prevent further damages to all consumers!
