We received a call from this time share place saying we won a cruise, a 4 day vacation and possibly more. All we had to do was come over and take their tour for 90 minutes and pick up our prizes. We were hesitant so they threw in a gas card for 40.00. I asked them point blank if there were any restrictions on the prices such as when you had to take them or fees associated with them. They said nothing except that you had to cruise between October and February when bahamas cruises normally go out. We arrived and they took us on a tour and a high pressured sales pitch we almost walked out after 2 1/2 hours but figured if we keep saying no they would let us get our prizes and go. They kept pushing us until 31/2 hours went by. After that we were led to a place to get our prizes. The cruise required a 100.00 good faith deposit and then you had to pick 3 dates 30 days a part from each other, they would let you know 30 days before your cruise was to leave which one you would get. Then if you couldn't go you forfeit the 100.00. Both trips had black out dates of 7 days before and 7 days after any holiday. Columbus day and Presidents day were listed as holidays. So there were only about 5 weeks you could go. But they had to be 30 days apart or you would be turned down and not notified. This was true of both trips. The gas card turned out to be a voucher you had to send in and get coupons for. You then had 120 days to send in your gas receipts of 10.00 a piece and they had to be mailed 30 days apart. See the pattern follow all the directions, dot all the i's or they keep your money. I did a search of this company that did their award prizes. The company was Spirit Incentives. I found their refund checks bounce and they do not honor the prizes or give refunds if you can't go for some reason then you are out your 100.00 also. THey wasted our 31/2 hours, lied to us and then didn't even give us our prizes. I would not recommend anyone tour their facility. They also lied about the law only allowing them to let us purchase on that day. THey didn't want us going home and adding up all the numbers they gave us. If you do your one week of vacation would cost you over 1000.00 a year. Even if you don't take the vacation. Marriott is a much better deal without the headaches.
