I purchased a sim card from Simple Mobile to use in an unlocked cell phone. Contacted the provider, Simple Mobile to activate and paid the first month of service in advance. I informed the Customer service representative that the phone was not accepting the sim card. Service Provider not available notice. Same notice on all the phones I tried. As he instructed, I removed the card and reinserted several times. He explained to me that it will take 24 hours to activate. I asked for my new cell number and he told me I would get it when I was able to place a call. I have never received a number for that sim card. I have never been able to place a call using that sim card. I have never had service on any phone I've tried to use with their sim card!
I called Simple Mobile support again two days later to find out what the problem was. Note- this is after trying the sim card in three different unlocked phones before contacting them. The card never worked. Simple Mobile tech support said the card is active. I still have three phones that tell me otherwise.
Tech support said the sim card is bad. I asked them to send me a new one. They refused. I was instructed to take it back to where I purchased it. I explained to them several times that once opened, the retailer will not take it back!
I was transfered time after time and instructed to do the same process with removing the sim card and placing it in another unlocked phone. I informed them that I've done this several times and it didn't work.
I asked that I be transfered to an American English Speaking Supervisor and they refused to honer my request. I was transfered instead to a rude and downright disrespectful foreigner that began to go back through the same process that I just went through! Enough is enough! I asked that she transfer me repeatedly! She refused!
I asked to cancel my account and for a refund of my money for non service. She refused and said that Simple Mobile does not give returns that it was in the policy! I HAVE NEVER seen a policy from Simple Mobile! Again....I have never received a phone number associated with this account and I have never received service for this account!
I emailed a letter of my utmost displeasure to their Customer Support and received their generic reply to contact technical support. The very people that can't speak and or understand english and gave me so much grief to start with!
Pure example of deception! Theft by deception and Theft by taking! I'm considering filing a police report against Simple Mobile for theft!
