An attempt to retuirn a faulty set of 42 dvds to Media Monster in Ontario, Canada, on 31 Jan 13, resulted in them being returned three months later by the Canadian Post Office without a forwarding address. Attempts to trace a new address, or that of skydvd.co.uk (who took the order) and CW.Marketing (to whom the money was paid) were unsuccessful. Numerous e-mails and letters have been written to amazon.co.uk (who sponsored skydvd.co.uk's website as a marketplace trader') and Mastercard (who accepted the payment on behalf of C.W.Marketing) Canadian Commercial Attache, and the trading standards officer to try and determine current trading addresses. I have also recently involved an agency of the government's BIS dealing with fraud. That this 'scam' was published in June 2012 before this order was placed suggests to me that both amazon.co.uk and Mastercard have a moral obligation in this matter.

If any reader of this website knows the whereabouts of skydvd.co.uk, C.W.Marketing and Media Monster, I would be most grateful to learn of them. There is some evidence to suggest that this dvd set are forgeries as a result of poor packaging information and their inability to be played on domestic equipment. (IVOR R.HOSGOOD)
