With companies trying to pinch every penny, it has now become customary to use a third party debit card company to deliver paychecks.  Skylight is just one of these types of sucmbags that make it look like you are getting a real credit card.  To anyone who is above the age of 18, just get a real checking account and don't be fooled by the rhetoric they spew at you full of double talk and hidden fees.  Sure they will give you over draft protection but at $25.00 a pop for going .01 over it is not worth it.  

When you get hired and you find out this is how they pay you, get your paycheck direct deposited to your real checking account right away.  you will have to use the skylight card for the first couple of paychecks and just make sure to pull all your money out as soon as it becomes available and put it in your real checking account. as soon as you start getting your direct deposits, cut up the skylight and be done with them.  

If you just got out of jail or are an illegal alien then this is the card for you.  But then again, if you are and you did get a job then chances are you are getting paid the old fashioned way.
