Our company performed remodel work for the owner of Sleep Inn in Greenwood Village (aka ABC Hospitality). We worked 43 hours and spent $639 in materials. When the work was complete the owner (Bill Toors who also happens to be Iranian) made the comment it was free. He gave us a check for $600.00 and said he would only pay for materials. When we went to cash the check, he had put a stop payment on the check.
We feel he had this planned and has done this to others. If you know of anyone who has had the same experience with this person (company) please let us know. He can not continue to get away with this. We are a small Mom and Pop operation and can not afford to be ripped off like this.
We also suspect he does this to his employees. If he owes you money for worked performed, you have rights! Don't let him get away with this again.
