Called Sleepys to file a warraty claim on a Kingsdown Mattress which has a 20year no prorated warranty. After 5 years the mattress is sagging with more then a 1 1/2 inch impression as stated by the warranty inspector. Sleepys is claiming improper support for the box frame and is voiding my warranty. The bed frame has more support then the supplied metal frame from sleepys. My frame has 4 corner supports as well as 3 center supports with 3 additional legs.
The physical damage is to my wife and I having back pain. This is why we called in for a warranty.
I will be contacting David Acker at Dacker@sleepysmail.com 516-844-8800 ext 803 next if someone does not resolve this in a timely fashion. I will also notify the local newspaper in the town your store is located to show how you work as I have and will continue to document all calls and letters.
