I was interested in making at least 1,000 a month. i heard of SMC, one saleman talked to me for awhile and at the end of that conversation i told him NO i think it would be risky. Then he said HOLD ON and he connected me to someone else and he talked to me for over an hour and somehow he convinced me to buy a website for 4,300 and the membership fee for 500. Before i bought it i told him that i have a 40 hour a week job and i won't have much time to work on the website, so i would need something that sells itself, and i am not a salesman. He asked me how much time do you have per week, i said i guess i could work on Fridays. 8-10 hours a week. He knew all this. He told me i had the top of the line website with search engines and assured me i would not need anything else to have people come to my website and buy my products. I even asked him again, "I won't need anything else right? he said no. to the best of my knowledge this is what was said. and i interpeted it this way. He did give me 2,000 credit also to buy whatever on the site. I have had NO sales at all since i started on June 23rd 2009. I did have one sale about 3 weeks ago, it was a credit card sale. so i put it threw and called e-merchant club and asked how do i get that money, does it go to my account in my bank. They told me I don't have a credit card i guess Gateway is what they call it, that i only have paypal. i asked the guy if he would go threw paypal. he didn't want it so i lost my ONLY sale. I was told i do have credit card and at least a dozen times i have asked verious people to look at my website to make sure everything is working right. My coach did not help me very much. All he mostly did was send me article on how to get search engine and then after a few months of not getting any sales. I was very upset and asked him. Why i wasn't getting any sales, THEN he said to me. You need to go to a bunch of search engines and advertise 3 hours a day, every single day. which comes to 21 hours a week. I had told him I already have a full time job. HE misled me. So after a few months of no selling anything on the website, i had to resort myself to Swapmeets. So i used my credit to buy products for the Swapmeet, I did 4 swapmeets and lost money on all of them. I have a one bedroom apartment with all these boxes of products that i don't want, i do still have about 600 credit. I have called SMC they won't respond to me. I have called e-merchant club they refuse to give me my money for the website. they said i need to talk to SMC legal department, but they don't call me back. what do i do??? thank you, Nancy Smith (((ROR redacted)))CLICK here to see why Rip-off Report, as a matter of policy, deleted either a phone number, link or e-mail address from this Report.
