Soft rock is a media company that claims to be a great place to work where you can make lots of money. They don't tell you what you will be doing or how to do it until you accept the job. The first dy abou 3 hours to give you a brief over view with no pay. Oh and they don't tell you that you won't be paid for those hours. You come in for the secound day for an 8 to 8:30 shift constantly on the phone. No training they give you a script and tell you to follow it per batium. by the 3rd day the start the process of letting people go. They give you this ridiculous quota of how many people to get sighned up for college they tell you to make them fell uncomfortable if you have to just get them to speak to an advisor. These are people that are looking for work and they use that against them. They work you extremly long hours so the pay actually adds up to be less than minimum wage. they're actually keeping track of the revenue by the second and if you are behind during the day they come around and tap you on the shoulder and let you know you're fired. The training is 11 weeks long and the task gets harder and harder. They don't care because they have they next group right behind you. The system is so that they advance you from station to station until you advance out the door. If you're extremly lucky you may be one of the very few in you're group of over 20 to make it. The average is about 1 to 3 of each group taht mat potientialy make it to the end. The days are mostly 10 to 12 hours 6 days a week. I worked over 100 hours in a two week span made the over 2300 dollars from my calls and got a paycheck for 485.00 and that wasn't enough to keep me, they let me go at the end of they day before my supposedly graduation from boot camp so that way they don't have to pay the 1000.00 they promise you will get at the end of the first two weeks. So imagine what they're making from the large group of people they have doing this daily. Their turn over rate as to be off the charts. So their claim to be bringing all these jobs to Orlando is in my opinion is the biggest scam ever. Called them after I recieved my check and the tone of the payroll person is we don't give a crap you aren't the first and won't be the last.
