southwest florida talent and modeling agency scams hopeful children and refused to pay a child monies owed to them Fort Myers, Florida

My five year old daughter did a back to school modeling show for  southwest Florida modeling and talent agency back on July 21,2012 she had to wait until Sept,21,2012 to get paid 2 months later.

The agreed upon amount was made and when I went to pick up the check it wasn't there so I had to come again another day to get the check when I received the check it was left in a mail box outside, I opened the check and it was for less than the agreed upon amount and Donna the agency owner made the check out to my five year old daughter,

Because it was the weekend I had to wait until Monday to call the office when I spoke to Donna telling her that her bank would not cash a check made out to a five year old minor she said she always makes the check out to the child I explained to her that my name should have been included on the check also, her response was you don't work for me.

I then told her that the amount of the check was wrong she said she took a fee, a fee was never discussed we only discussed the set amount my daughter would get paid and I never signed a contract allowing a fee to be deducted.

Let me give you some background my daughter started with this agency when she was 2 years old Donna insisted that she take modeling classes and learn how to run lines cost $350.00 plus take pictures from her photographer cost $250.00  My daughter has done many jobs including being in an independent film without being paid and the excuse from Donna was because she didn't get paid she couldn't pay my daughter.The back to school show was the first paid job and my daughter hasn't gotten paid her correct amount and the check is no good since it is made out to a five year old. Donna is a hustler do not bring your children to this agency they make there money by charging for classes and photos and getting models to work for free.

I was very new at this so I trusted this person and the person turned out to be a liar and a cheater and she is doing this to a child this just amazes me I am not the only parent that has complaints about this agency.

 My daughter did the work she deserves to get paid I am seeking her back pay also because I do not believe that Donna was not getting paid for all the shows my daughter did for example bridal expo modeling for David's bridal(no pay for 2 years) work in a film (no pay) countless other shows she made the parents feel like they had to have there child work for free.
