I was trying to plan an after party for my wedding weekend on sun september 15 2012.So MY future wife and I decided to go with the SPENCER DANIELS AGENCY.Having a wedding or party in Sullivan county ny is hard when you dont have many companies to pick from.So i thought after reading this companies web site that they would do everything as far as setup run the party and clean up.I meet jeff Siegel about 2 or 3 months before the party and he said this company would do it all I wouldn't have to do anything just have fun .



Well//// how wrong that statement WAS from him .First off they came to setup the tent in my yard they threw all my lawn furniture everywhere .They came THURSDAY before the party on Sun and put the tables out with the table clothes on them and they blew with the wind allover my yard.i told JEFF about IT he said that was wrong and he would take care of it.Well they took them from the grass and again put them on the tables and blew all over my yard again////////



SECOND the day of the party he send me ONE man to do it all clean ,serve and cook.MY  wife call him because we were so mad about it and she told him how can you send just one guy to do it all.he said to my wife you did not want a bartender.she said right but we wanted more than one guy to do the party .He cooked but could not serve or clean during the party.so Jeff said well i try to find another guy.So he does sent one but the guy was useless did nothing. The other guy was great cooked good but i wanted everything done not just cooking.I had to serve ,clean during party and clean up in the end I was so maddddddd.    





After the party they came to take down the tent and again threw all my stuff allover the yard.i am so mad at this company and the president JEFF SEIGAL .I RECOMEND YOU NEVER use THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING, PARTY ETC.HE CHARGED ME ABOUT 4000 GRAND WHAT A RIPOFFFFFFFFFFF.

Spencer Daniels Agency is very professional

I have personally known Jeff Siegel for over 35 years and have dealt with his company, the Spencer Daniels Agency many, many times over the years for services which included running our company holiday parties, retirement dinners, personal family functions, training presentations for my employees and most recently marketing video development.   I have never had an issue in any way, things are spelled out clearly, Jeff and his staff pay attention to every detail and once I contract with them - I know I can be completely at ease since often at these events - I am there to have a good time with all our employees, customers, friends and family - not manage the details once it's started.   They deliver exactly what they say they will. 



There isn't a more organized, positive person when it comes to promotional events and works harder than 99% of the people I know in the business world.



If someone had differences with the SDA - I would suggest that the client dropped the ball on their part or had expectations that were no where near what SDA proposed / contracted for.  Jeff Siegel and his staff deliver beyond expectations and I not only would highly recommend their company, we have him booked for our holiday party again next month to provide the entertainment.  They deliver 110% of what they say they will every time.

This the client (the BRIDE) who is sure in the 35 years of business there has been a gamut of services you and your company have provided to an expansive range of clients with a variety of outcomes.  That, Mr. Siegel is part of the reason why we contracted your company for it services.  However, our dissatisfaction is not unfounded and your dismissive tone and erroneous response only further highlights the lack of customer service and satisfaction you provided for our experience.  In no way, shape or form did I or my husband, when we both spoke with you at the same time on the phone (as you were driving back from Kingston) about changing the contract, ever say that we would provide the staffing needed for the moving, serving or cleaning.  We did, however, ask for the bartender to be removed from the contract.  We did not feel we needed someone to serve drinks.  It was then reiterated that the picnic package we were paying for included the appropriate staffing for set-up, serving and clean-up before, during and after our function.  An updated contract was sent that had the bartender removed from the price listing on page 1 as well as the wording for set-up, clean-up and staffing included on page 2.  Where was the communication failure?   As stated in the first post from my husband, we were told we would not have to worry about anything.  We set-up up chairs, put on tablecloths, cleaned the plates away from the tables, etc. 

My husband spoke with you on Thursday about his displeasure and then I on Sunday of our event weekend.   After the event, there was no follow-up from your company looking to offer any customer service or resolve our unhappiness with some aspects of your service.   The fee for services did not match the promised product provided.  I am glad you have clients that will post for you.

We could have guests, workers at the host venue as well as neighbors who could post as well to attest to what unfolded for us.

Your company fell short for us and that is not fallacious or fabricated.

No problems with Spencer Daniels

I am the Executive Director of the Northeast Classic Car Museuem in Norwich NY and have been working with Spencer Daniels for the past 3 years. I have found Jeff and his staff to be professional, courteous and flexible in our dealings with them. As a not-for-profit organization dependent on a great Casino Night event, Jeff and his team have always delivered. He also delivered with regard to another event we recently had which was attended by more than 350 people from a local major employer as well. Without the Spencer Daniels Agency, we would have never been able to pull this off.

Also, as a former wedding DJ, I know the stress that entertainers are put under by clients in order to make their day memorable. Nothing in my dealings with this company would lead me to the conclusion that they do not take each event to heart as I did and do the best for their client with the elements under their control.

Jeff, thanks for all the hard work and making each of our events memorable!!!

Loved working with Spencer Daniels

Our last child (one of 4) to get married off, told us she wanted an outdoor wedding on her fiancee's grandparents homestead in beautiful Kenoza Lake.  Having had a wedding on the beach in Mexico, a wedding at Mountain View Manor in Glen Spey and a wedding at the Villa Roma this one would have us well rounded in different wedding venues.  From our first encounter with Jeff Siegel to the final clean up we have nothing but great things to say. 

Our event was for 140 people, with the wedding, cocktail hour and reception all being outside.  Jeff did exactly what we contracted him to do, He was also very helpful in guiding us through some of the things you forget about when planning an outside event.  All tasks were completed at their scheduled time.  Jeff and his staff were very respectful to the property and home owners.  The food was prepared to perfection and we had no service issues.  No long lines for drinks. 

This being our fourth wedding, I do know that you have to make sure that you understand what you contract for.  Many people assume certain services are a given and that is not the case when you are planning a wedding.  What we liked best about working with the Spencer Daniels agency was that he could do whatever we needed him to do.  You have the opportunity to pick and choose.  It didn't have to be an all or nothing.  Our July 7, 2012 wedding turned out beautiful in every way and we would not hestiate to use Jeff and the Spencer Daniels Agency again.

I have read your report regarding the Spencer Daniels Agency. I can tell you from my personal experience have engaged the services of Jeff and his Company not at one time did I ever have a problem.

He delivered to me whatever we had agreed upon and plus in most instances. I have attended various events that the Agency represented; weddings, bar mitzvahs, political and social events, non-for-profit events (in many cases I understand he even donates his services),etc.

I have always found the SDA to be professional, courteous and acomodating and always there to please all in attendance.  I am extremely surprised to read this "Rip off Report" that was presented on this site.

I am sure if the writer of this report were to have discussed his displeasure with Jeff and SDA they would have come to some agreement or solution rather than posting this on the page.

I've worked with Spencer Daniels Agency for over 18 years and never had any problems as far as service provided.  Just as any other service vendor, as long as your needs are clearly stated and contracted service is rendered.  There are plenty of options now a days and it is truly hard to find a service that takes pride in what they do.  This is one of the reasons I continue to use spencer daniels agency because all I have to do is make one phone call and not have to worry about service provided accurately.

The event was contracted for multiple services in two different locations over three days which made up the total event and cost.  Our company provided all of the services that were contracted and promised.  The client however (the bride), when it came to different parts of the event stated that they would provide the staffing needed for the moving, serving, cleaning, bartending, etc. so that they could save on the money end of their budget.  At that point we readjusted the contract to reflect the services asked for and the changes.  

I believe that the bride might not have communicated with the groom about the changes and deletions which took place after the groom and I met.  Now there are two different visions in peoples minds and afterwards neither will be good enough.

I will stand on a 35 year reputation of great full time service in the event industry to thousands of private and up to fortune 100 clients around the United States of America.  I am not going to say that in 35 years there has not been a dissatisfied client, but this one is unfounded.

Spencer Daniels Agency Great Service

After reading this report, I have to say, I believe from being an outsider looking in, there is definitley information missing here.  I work at the Villa Roma Resort Hotel as a manager, and we have had years of adequate at best AV service.  It took us years to find a company or individual that would be able to serve our hotel in the best possible way.  Jeff and his company, the Spencer Daniels Agency, has served our hotel for the many years.  His employees ensure that all of our sound and audio requirements for our guests are taken care of.  His company provides us with rentals such as tables, chairs, av equipment, staging, lighing, DJ's and anything else that we need.  In this industry, there is always the unexpected last minute item that someone needs, sometimes, at unholy times!  The only person on the planet who would pick up there phone at 11pm Midnight and beyond was Jeff.  Once called, we had what we needed with no questions asked!  Now-tell me where else you could find this kind of service?
