I took out a loan on April 2012, which i paid on time at 36.7 interest rate for 1243 dollars. My credit score which they used was equifax 652. They also slipped the insurance in on me. But i said ok.

Since I was a on time customer. They offered me more money in October 2012 with a 31.03 interest for 2065 which I paid on time. This was also with insurance again. credit score 657.

In both these cases I would get a refund of finance charges if i paid off early. I called to get a payoff and lisa gave me a payoff 500.00 less on the phone than when i got in the office. I was livid but I paid it off in April 2013.

I went to take out a loan in late July of 2013 which they sent a prequalified letter to me and was given the run around for over a week. when I finally went in the office the girl who did my loan again I told her that I did not want the insurance. so she went back and printed new paperwork but i did not notice that unlike the other two loans she used the experian score which was 60 points lower which raised my interest rate to 35.19 and on this loan she checked that i will not get my finance charges back if i pay early. I think this was done because I would not purchase the insurance and you could see she was visibly upset by the fact.

The reason I am saying something is that I suspect that they are doing this to people who won"t get the insurance because they can"t force you to get the insurance which they make money on. They will try to slip in the no refund of finance charge on you.

I will not use this company again and everyone shoud be aware.

Why Did You Use Them?

If you saw on the paperwork there was a pre-payment penalty and you didn't agree with that, why did you go thru with the loan?  You should have tried someplace else if you intend to pay it off early.
