My husband, mother, and I traded in our iPhone 4s models (2 black phones, 1 white phone) when we upgraded to the 5S models.  Sprint informed us that we could receive a $70 credit for each of the 3 phones, totaling $210 on our bill to help offset the cost of the new phones and associated setup fees.

Over 3 months ago, I shipped the 3 models to using the Sprint Buyback program's shipping/tracking process.  I (thankfully) took a few photos of the 3 phones being packaged together in the same box prior to shipping.  I tracked the package and confirmed that it arrived at their facility.

After a month or so passed with no word and no credit on our account, I reached out to Sprint and was stunned at their response that they received just 2 of the 3 phones shipped (2 black, but not the white phone that was in the same box).  Since then we have exchanged countless emails regarding this absurd discrepancy.

Spring Buyback claims that they have no record of ever receiving the 3rd phone.  There is simply no other explanation for this other than someone from their warehouse misplacing or stealing the 3rd phone from the box upon receipt.

After promising to escalate our issue, there has been no further contact.  We are disgusted and truly disappointed in this program as their processes are obviously quite flawed.  As yet, we are out $70 and wasted time spent trying to settle this matter.

If anyone else is experiencing a similar issue with the Sprint Buyback program misplacing your confirmed shipped items, please let us know.  We continue to pursue this matter.
