Square, Inc. Squareup Terminated because I work in foreclosure defense San Francisco California

Recently, we were terminated without notice and the reason given was that we filed bankruptcies on behalf of our homeowners. Mind you, we did not use Square to charge their credit cards. Instead, we only used Square to take retainers from our clients that were not filing bankruptcy. However, they have branded us with a scarlet B and terminated the service without doing any investigation, follow-up or even a polite warning. Moreover, we have attempted to reach them to clear up their misperception but we cannot reach anyone by phone or email. All we get are stock responses that we have allegedly violated our Agreement with them.

Any attorneys thinking of using this service should make sure they never do any bankruptcies in their practice since this appears to be the kiss of death. If you like to work with vendors with good customer service, you might want to steer clear of this company. And if you work with them already, have a plan B in case they just turn off the switch without warning.
