Stanley Home warranty Will not return calls or repair items enumerated in warranty Englewood cliffs New Jersey
We purchased Stanley Warranty in October. In November, after the waiting period, we did an on line claim as is required by Stanley. No one contacted us. We called for days, many times each day and no one ever called us back. We emailed and received no response. We used their method to cancel the warranty due to lack of service. There is a 50.00 charge plus a proration. After we faxed the cancellation notice we received numerous calls from Stanly attempting to get our business back. When we refused they would not stop calling. They refused to refund our cancellation fee even though the active warranty time was 3 days. They also told us our claim was suspicious because it came 3 days after the waiting period. They make great promises with their sales pitch and have no follow through. Just for a bit more info, our neighbor also has Stanley and they had an issue with their pool. They had to find a repair man because Stanley would not and now it is unclear if Stanley will pay even though Stanley told them to locate a repair company and have the work done.
