We my wife and I) visited Stanton Optical for their free eye exam and 2 for $69.99 offer.  By the time we left, we had paid $700 between the two of us.  We placed outr orders, but, since she really didn't require new glases, my wife decided to cancal her order ($325) and get a refund.  We were told that the glasses wouldn't be ready for 3 weeks, so it should not have been a problem.  She was told that since she hadn't decided within 24 hours of her order (it was about 36 hours), she could not get a refund.  They told her there is a sign posted stating the 24 hour policy, but neither of us saw it, nor were we informed of it.  The oly thing we were told of was the warranty on the frames.  Basically, once they have your money, your out of luck.  Even if your dissatisfied with the product, they will only exchange them.  NO REFUNDS.

GIVE ME A BREAK - I hope they do see what I posted.  When you're in business, your primary concern has to be customer satisfaction.  My question here is, why was I told that my glasses would not be ready until mid May, but they also tell me thay are already being processed within 24 hours.  They can have it both ways.  Regarding their lawyers, bring em on.  I'm not really concerned that they would file suit.  It would just be more bad ublicity for them.  Did I read the signs?  I didn't even see a sign!  Did I read the warranty?  Well, yes I did, and the way it is worded makes it seem like I can get a refund, IF I am not satified with the product; however, the truth is, they do not issue refunds without a fight.  I am not the only person with an issue with Stanton.  Just look around the web.  They really need to work on their customerservice skills.  I you want their lawyers to see what I posted, tell them they can contact me.  I'll tell them what I said.  DO NOT MAKE THREATS YOU CAN"T BACKUP!

 Sorry but do you need people to tell you to breath? Or blink?? Sounds to me that because YOU didnt read the POSTED signs OR the information provided on the back of the receipt, that YOU are trying to turn it around on them so you look like a better victim. It doesnt work that way here. Those of us that volenteer here see this WAY TOO MUCH!!!!

It is ALWAYS the same. The business is made out to be a monster or villian because the consumer couldnt even do the MINIMUM required of them. You and I both KNOW that you spent some time there, so YOU had PLENTY of time to read the signs posted. You DID NOT READ!!! So how is it THEIR fault that YOUR WIFE changed her mind AFTER the 24hr window had passed? Were you expecting them to just eat the order? They give you 24hrs because AFTER the 24 hour mark, the order has been submitted and cant be cancelled. You will have to wait until the glasses come in and THEN request a refund.

It ALWAYS amazes me how quickly a grown adult can turn around and act like a spoiled child. Especially when you go as far as making a online report bashing them for what is YOUR FAULT!!!! Rules and policies are in place FOR A REASON!!!!! The main reason is to protect all parties involved from fraud. The GREAT thing about YOUR report is that while you have the RIGHT to say what you wish, when you do it online, you open yourself up to being sued in civil court. The web is a MEDIA OUTLET, YOU are under the exact same laws that ANY printed publication MUST follow. Because of this, what you have done IS slanderous. THEY are not denying your refund just to be asses about the situation, they are denying you refund because it is BEYOND the time in which they CAN do one. But THAT doesnt matter to people like you. YOU just want your way no matter what the costs involved MAY be. Well let me be the first to ADD to this problem, Im going to forward THIS report to THEM!! THEY have much better Lawyers then you do and when you lose the case, and you will, you will not only have the punative damages but you will ALSO have the ENTIRE attorneys fees AND court costs to pay.

I would wish you luck in your future upcomming legal battle, but it wont help at all. In the future one would HOPE that you would LEARN from all of this, but much like ANY American Consumer, you are blind to your own mistakes. You WILLINGLY post your opinions as FACT. You WILLINGLY bash them because you were not TOLD you have 24hrs even though its posted at the register and its information that you had IN YOUR HANDS on the back of the receipt. YOU have done this to yourself and you wish to BLAME anyone else BEFORE you will accept ANY responsibility. Save yourself some headache, accept and admit that this is NOT thier fault. ACCEPT and ADMIT that THEY are NOT the ones who madea mistake, it was YOUR WIFE who changed her mind AFTER the refund window had closed and YOU seek to attempt to embarrass them into giving you your way BECAUSE you have made a online post about them. Heres the BIGGEST screw of them all.......

RipoffReport DOESNT EVER remove a report unless there is a court order involved DEMANDING that they do so. So YOUR post is here until the web dies. So not ONLY will this ploy of yours backfire because you are about 7 years too late for that particular ploy to succeed, but this report AND rebuttal will NEVER leave this site.
