This guy shows up at my house pitching these prime steaks that were destined for a restaurant and couldn't be delivered in time, so now he has a freezer full of steaks he has to sell. Unfortunately, I wasn't home to tell him off and my wife bought a ton of steak from him.
This is the worst steak EVER. Ribeyes that you can't chew, full of gristle, silver skin, fat blobs, tough as leather, thinly and unevenly sliced, you name it, its got it. I think it needs the gristle and silver skin to hold the steak together. As other people have mentioned, I am thinking about throwing it all away. It was a waste of a good baked potato. Ugh. Hope people read this and avoid buying from these ripoff artists that sell this meat.
Finally, the wife has agreed that she made a bad decision and that this is the worst steak she has ever had as well.
The box does say USDA Choice, but it doesn't even come close to the Choice steaks I buy locally from the store (including the bix box stores).
BE FOREWARNED. DO NOT BUY ANY MEAT FROM THIS COMPANY.
