Homes in Lansing, Michigan have been left in foreclosure and are now boarded up and homeless people have moved in leaving the homes in a state of decay.  Rats and vermin have inhabited the backyards and are living in woodpiles with old furnitures and newspapers thrown all over the neighborhood.

The City Inspectors have left notices on the front doors condeming the property but the occupants don't seem to care and come in and out throught broken windows in the back or on the side of the houses. Cars are parked on the front lawn and oil is dripping in the dirt causing a bad smell and polution.

Dope Dealers, Crack Adicts and prositutes are coming and going day and night and the local police do nothing to stop it.  I see young school age children walking to classes and see the used condoms in the driveway after a night of weekend pimping.  The Real Estate company listed as the owner does not answer the phone and the address is just a mailing address for a company EMC realty services or Electronic Realty Group of Chicago Illinois.

The good neighbors property values keep going down and it is hard not to just let the homes go back to lenders and not worry about the community.  If people would just try to fix up the homes or the the real estate managers would rent out the houses to decent people the bad people would not move in and the kids would not be subject to such bad behavior in our local neighborhood.

I tried the local housing authority, and the State narcotics enforcement but they seen too busy and never send out a patrol or they just don't care and only patrol upscale neighborhoods where no minority groups live.  this is just another racist way of forcing people of color out of local neighborhoods.
