Straight Talk Buyers Beware. National Nationwide

Hi Haek6978! This is Julie and I work with Straight Talk Wireless. I read your post and would like to help you. Straight Talk won't allow software updates but you can still do so if you would like to at your own risk.

For all of your ranting and raving about  what I should have known or expected from a pre paid service is you're opinion. I would think most people who pay 399 $ for a GALAXY S4 Cash money up front,have a reasonable expectation to be able to update their bought and paid for device. As for updating the phone ones self it is impossible. They lock the phones so that you aren't able to update on Samsung keis or otherwise. So go on about you get what you pay for ect. I didn't buy the phone because I did research and discovered that Straight Talk will not update their high end devices!!! Wich is a RIP OFF !!!!!  I am simply warning people if they spend a lot of money up front 399$ for a phone its as is no updates for an expensive device.

 Well if you wish to have regular updates then I suggest YOU PAY FOR IT!!! I understand about needing to save where you can, but there is some COMMON SENSE that YOU should be using here. First....ITS PREPAID!!! Its the LOWEST and CHEAPEST service around. If YOU were perhaps expecting the same level of product support as a CONTRACTED service, then THAT is YOUR ASSUMPTION!!! You get what you pay for!!! PERIOD!!!! Secondly, its the cheapest out there so you TRULY are getting what you have paid for. You cant pay a penny and expect a dollars worth of service. LIFE and REALITY do not work that way. Lastly, YOU chose to go cheap. YOU cannot NOW whine about it. UPDATES COST!!!!! Oh YOU don't see the costs but trust me its there. Straight talk would have to pay for EACH update. Those updates ARE NOT FREE!!!! So if YOU want more updates then YOU are going to end up paying MORE. Since cost is SUCH a factor for YOU, this should be something you just accept. This is the CHOICE YOU MADE!!!!! You went cheap, you get cheap. This is ALL common sense, so don't act all shocked about it. It is NOT a ripoff for them to NOT pay for YOU to have updates. You seem to have enough computer skills to be able to go on the web and spew YOUR bile around because YOU are so cheap yet expect the royal service, so YOU should be able to look up those updates ONLINE and apply them yourself to your phone.
