I want to start by telling you, PLEASE DO YOUR HOMEWORK before putting your life in someone elses hands. These people have the highest rate of revision surgeries, I myself can introduce you to over 10 patients who have had to painful, unsuccessful revisions with these people including myself. I had my first surgery with them back in November of 2007, I had a tummy tuck, and lipo, ofcourse after having a belly and some love handles you think wow! amazing! but when the swelling started going down and I realized what they had done to my belly button I wanted to die. I went back and expressed my concerns to my Doctor and he told me that he can fixed that problem at the point I felt confident and trusted my surgeon so around January of 2008 I went in for the belly button revision at a breast implant with scar revisions. To make a very long story short the revision was a joke they or rather something out of a horror movie. They didnt fix anything if anything they only made it worst and now they dont even want to honor the contract they had for another revision without me paying the expense. People please contact me or search investigate before deciding Strax is the place for you. Today I have an appointment for a mamogram and there is a 98.9% chance I will have to have the implants remove. I dont understand how Jeffrey the owner is letting something like this happen he out anyone should know is cruel and wrong. He should know what I mean with this. I am more than happy to interview or talk to anyone, I have proofs of everything and contacts for all the victims I mentioned before.

4 deaths and 100s of bothched jobs mean class action suite

AUTHOR: sherry - (United States of America)

My friend and I both used Straxs two years ago. Neither of us could see any differance in the before and "after" photos we had taken. each of us spent nearly $5,000.00 apiece with nothing to show for it but the photos we had taken with little or no changes. The Ne3w Times in their  Volumn 13, number 46 edition called Straxs a 'fast food chain" of the plastic surgery world with 4 deaths reported

i sugest we ban together and create a class action lawsuite against that company.

Deaths from Strax

AUTHOR: Devom - (United States of America)

Perhaps this article can help people who are doing their homework and looking into the safety of Strax Rejuvenation. It seems like there are either an inordinate amount of deaths at Strax or a large amount of doctors. Either way people have died and that's something everyone should take seriously.

Yes, I agree. Do your research.  Had I took the time to visit this website and read even a couple reports against Strax, I would have NEVER, EVER allowed Strax to touch me. I urge you to not make the same mistake.  Go somewhere else and pay double or even triple the price and have it done right.  Your self image is worth more than a few thousand dollars, trust me! When you read just one report about surgery gone wrong, then you write yourself a note to make sure you remember not to visit that surgeon's office.  Just one bad surgery is one surgery too many.  Believe what you read.  Patients who write such reports don't do it for fun.  It's real people talking about real experiences.  Patients have no reason to lie about stuff like that.  Do you think its fun writing this? No. It's not fun remembering that the nose I have on my face right now looks worse than before my Strax rhinoplastly + a revision rhinoplasty.  I want to forget.  I wish I didn't feel the need to write this.  I wish that I could be looking in a mirror right now and admiring a pretty nose.

I dreamed of getting a rhinoplasty since I was a kid.  I didn't think it would ever be possible for me to get one.  After all these years of feeling self-conscious about my nose, now I feel embarrased to tell anyone that I even had a rhinoplasty.  These surgeries are meant to improve the body, not make it worse.  And it's not just about the crooked, bumpy nose, it's about the effect that disaster surgery had on your mental state.  You should go get a bottle of Prozac from your family physician right before your surgery with Strax. I am not exaggerating.

The people at Strax have no conscience.  Maybe because they never had a plastic surgery done wrong.  That and also it's all about the money.  They are making money off of people's misery.  It really is a "chop shop".  If you end up with a bad result, they have no problem doing the whole ordeal again and again and again....  It's nothing to them.  It's like changing socks.

During your visits, the doctors storm in and out of the examination rooms.  They are rushing to get to the next patient so you will not get the attention you deserve as a paying customer.  They will not be interested in your concerns.  And if you question them, they will get offended and tell you that you are a "dangerous patient".  Strax doctors have some serious God complexes there. Before your surgery the situation is not going to seem bad.  But in the event that you are dissatisfied, you are on your own.  You can complain but they will always find some ridiculous come back. Sometimes they can come up with things to say that makes you wonder if you have "I'm an idiot" written on your forehead. I am not saying that if you go to strax that you will for sure end up with a disfigured body part.  There are satisfied patients there.  But with the way they conduct business there and the failure rate...is it worth taking the risk with them?  Go and schedule a consultation, find out for yourself.  It might not be obvious at first so pay close attention to what's going on around you.  Observe everything.

Once again, I am not saying this for sure will happen to you.  I'm just telling you what happened to me.

The lady who's post I'm commenting on, if you get this, please contact me. This is my first post on here so I don't know if there's a way to get in touch with people.  But anyone, unhappy Strax patients, lawyers, media, please come talk to me.

Strax Rejuvenation Official Response To Reviews

AUTHOR: Strax Rejuvenation - (United States of America)

Strax Rejuvenation and Aesthetic Institute (Strax) is grateful when clients take the time to relate their experiences and opinions relative to our facility, the staff and the services we provide. While it is always gratifying to hear the impressions of our many satisfied customers, learning about a clients less than positive experience, even though disheartening, is instrumental in our effort to ensure issues we may not be aware of, are appropriately and conclusively addressed.

Accordingly, Strax takes every review of its business very seriously. To that end, the Company makes every effort to communicate with the individuals that post reviews in order to investigate the accuracy of the information asserted. If it is determined that the information is in fact accurate, the Companys Patient Care Team attempts to address the specific case and make those changes reasonably necessary to rectify the patients concerns. As a part of that process, Straxs Medical Review Board, which is chaired and manned exclusively by board certified plastic surgeons, reviews the subject patients medical history in order to determine the best course of action in light of the articulated concernsAdditionally, corporate policies and procedures are also reviewed in order to prevent the specific scenario from reoccurring if at all possibleTo the best of our knowledge, no other facility provides this level of case review and quality control on a specific case by case basisTo be clear, our fundamental and overarching goal is to ensure that every patient obtains the best results possible and is proud to refer Strax Rejuvenation to their friends and family.

However, we also recognize that on a national basis, an average of twelve (12) to fifteen (15) percent of all cosmetic surgery procedures generate secondary procedures which are performed to enhance a patients initial results. Its important to note that Straxs rate of secondary procedures is substantially below that national average.

Relative to the instant review, as of the time of this response, we have not been able to contact this particular individualHowever, Strax will continue to make every effort to contact this particular reviewer in order to verify their statements and address their concerns as rapidly and comprehensively as reasonably possible.
