I have apologized for my comments and sincerely regret and unintentional harm I have caused with my opinions.

At the suggestion of my attorney, I want to make it known that my retraction on 5.11.10 was made in duress and is therefore void. I had recieved documents from the Pindells on 5.11.10 that were made to look like court documents from Allegan country. I posted the retraction because I just wanted him to leave me alone. Nothing has been officially worked out between them and myself. I was telling the truth that my puppy had a hernia and the Pindells did not return my calls.

I have worked things out with the Pindells. It was a misunderstanding and I am retracting my previous statements. Thank you.

Mr. Pindell is confused. I am an animal lover not some type of "activist". I called him multiple times to reach him because I thought he had me confused for someone else when he began to scream at me on the phone.

The Animal Enterprise Terrorism Act (AETA) Mr. Pindell speaks of, is a United States federal law (Pub.L. 109-374; 18 U.S.C. 43) that prohibits any person from using force, violence, or threats for the purpose of damaging or interfering with the operations of an animal enterprise.[1] The law does not "prohibit any expressive conduct (including peaceful picketing or other peaceful demonstration) protected from legal prohibition by the First Amendment to the Constitution." For this law to even apply to myself:

 I would have to have threatended the Pindells with "force, violence, or threats"--which I have not done. I have NEVER used profanity or called at early or late hours.

Mr. Pindell however, has called my home at late hours, used profanity, called members of my family and harassed them, threatened to sue me because I have filed a complaint against him on this website, and has lied about having meetings with my employers to have my employment terminated.

For this law to even apply to the Pindells:

1. They would need to be "an animal enterprise" or buisness, and file applicaple state and ferderal taxes. I did not write a check to a buisness name.

I did not slander him. Slander and libel are when someone writes something that is not true. The Pindells did sell me a puppy with a hernia, that will require a surgery to fix. They did not return my calls. Both statements are true.

I had been trying to contact the Pindells for months after purchasing my puppy. I actually wanted to buy another one from them. When I found out about her hernia I did not automatically assume ill-will...until they refused to take my calls and were posting ads for new puppies under a new number. When I called the new number, Mr. Pindell lied about who he was, screamed at me, and then hung up on me. It was at that point I realized why they had been avoiding me and that is why I posted a consumer report against them on this website.

My employer has been made aware of the situation and is standing by via Bank Protection and our Security department if the Pindells approach me in anyway while I am at work or on their property.

I have changed my home and cell phone numbers because of Mr. Pindells outrageous behavior.The address listed by Mr. Pindell is no longer valid, as I no longer live in Wyoming, MI. If anyone has any questions please feel free to contact me at the email listed.

If the Pindells contact me in anyway I will call the Police.

I did speak with Mr. Pindell on the phone today. I have been told I have to put a retraction or he will contact my employeer and have me sued. I am not sure how or if he will do this.

I feel that there has been confusion regarding who I was and that I was "terrorizing" them. Mr. Pindell screamed on the phone that I was an animal activist, and I figured he had me confused for someone else. I tried to call from a few different numbers hoping to speak with someone to clear up the confusion.

I have been trying to get ahold of the Pindells for months regarding my puppy's hernia (she will have to have a surgery) and also to maybe get a playmate.

They refused to take my calls. When I called the number on mlive I had no idea it was the Pindells, and then he lied to me about who he was. He wouldnt give me his name. I figured he was trying to not talk to me about the puppy health situation. This raised a red flag and I thought others should know about it.

I am retracting my report in the good faith promise that Mr. & Mrs. Pindell will return their customers calls and also make customers aware of any health problems their puppies may have. Mr. Pindell has also promised to stop calling members of my family, and to leave me alone in my professional and personal life. I will not ever contact them again.
