Sundance Center and or Journey Healing Center Dont waste your time with this group - they will not help you or your loved one Scottsdale Arizona

I had gone with my mother to tour their place in Scottsdale Az several months before she finally made the decision to commit to trying her best to get sober and stay that way. She had said to call them so I did they said they had availability but she would have to detox first. They gave me a number to call of place that they use and so I called and had it set for the next day. She did not go until 2 days later and once she did that detox was full so the girl i had spoke with at Sundance told us  to go to another one in mesa. Apparantly they only  use the one place but she said that the one in mesa was a good one.

We went and it was terrible we had to wait for 6 hours to get in with the people that were not paying - but we were. My mom was harassed by this guy that was bombed and kept trying to kiss and touch her. The place has no security - they said it would scare off some people that need treatm4nt. So basically it was a room the size of closet with 12- 15 people waiting to be called back and admitted. My mom was there 3-4 days and had to be transported to Banner Hospital as they could not draw blood from her at place and they needed to . She finished detoxing there all the while i was talking to Anna at Sundance about her status and she kept saying they could take her there.

The day before her release from hospital I called Anna and she said bad news they did not have availability there now but would in 2 weeks to a month. I could not believe this then she said their place in utah Journey Healing Center had opening for her. So we would have to fly her there and so we did. She had a drink on the plane so they put her in emergency detox there - 3 days later they said they could not take her as she was not clear enough yet. We were out the money for the airfare and the 2 detox centers - my mother had never agreed to rehab until then and it was a process but she was ready to embrace it and after this run around and then refusal to admit her she now saya no sshe will never try to go again.

This place said they are nontwelve step , dual diagnosis which fit our needs they wante 26,000 for 30 days paid up front non refundable. We said ok and did what they said to get her in they were in contact with all detox places throughout her care and they waited till last minute to deny her. This place is not able to provide the services they claim and will run you around unless you basically dont have a serious problem other than attention seeking they prove this over and over. Dont fall for their lies and let them damage any trust you have built with loved one or yourself as they will. Cant believe we almost had to beg to give them $26,000 which is not covered by insurance and they still failed.
