Sundance vacations Waste of time for a free cruise that's NOT free at all!!!High pressure sales for vac packages they lie about! Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania

While leaving Dorney Park I entered a contest to win a car. I got a ca from Sundance vacations telling me I'm Still in the contest for the car but have been chosen to be part of a promotion and get a free cruise for 2 to the Bahamas. All that I would have to pay for would be taxes which would be no more than $200.(LIE), after further research and statements from other people that have gone through this, the romantic wonderful cruise would end up costing at least $800-$1000...because of the hidden fees you don't find out about till you pay your first set of fees....oh and this is for a BunkBed room...not fun.

So I go and sit through this presentation which at the time sounded like a great deal....so I signed up for 12 weeks of vacations for $6000. And I put $130 down.. And it was very high pressure. I couldnt go home and think about it, I had to make the decision right then and there.

After further research and finding the page "Boycott Sundance Vacations" on Facebook, I knew I made a big mistake. First thing I did was call the credit card company I used for them to take my monthly payment and stop all authorization to this company. In other words I black flagged them. My credit card company was more than accommodating. Plus next week I'm calling and having my account # changed, just to be on the safe side.

As far as my down Payment. I used my debt card, that day they put it through but it didn't clear yet. If it does I wi dispute it because of the fact they misrepresented themselves.

Ok...next step...call and cancel my package or membership, scam package, whichever, call it how you see it. They said I can cancel but I have to sign this release agreement which is a crock of B.S. this agreement is a gag order and it strips me of all my consumer rights and 1st amendment rights., and it's blackmail. After reading this BS agreement I called them back and said I would not sign this agreement and was told I wouldnt receive a refund unless I signed it....EXTORSION, and again blackmail..

Visit boycott Sundance vacations before you go to try and claim a cruise...it's a waste of time and energy.

I hope for their sake they rescind on taking my downpayment. I work hard for my money and I'm not just going to throw it away, espically to scum scam artist like Sundance vacations.
