Sunrise Van Lines promise you the moon, but can't deliver!! Ft. Lauderdale Florida

Do not use Sunrise Van Lines! The sales people lie! When I asked if they will be the only company touching my furniture, I was assured that they some would pick up and deliver my furniture. That was a lie! The driver, Andrew, the only honest Preston who works for this company, told me, when he picked up my furniture, that it was going to a warehouse in Miami until they could locate another company that was going to Birmingham. I want happy about that. Then, when I found out from Ron, the lying owner of the company, that my credit card was not charged the deposit, or the entire cost, which I paid so I didn't have to pay cash at the delivery, I was furious! He called me, for the first time, and explained to me, in broken Russian/ English, that I would have to pay the entire bill, $2400, in cash!!!

This was also am inflated bill because I was quoted a cost of no moor than $2000. That's why I chose them! Then, the sales girl, Bonnie, told me I would have my furniture within a couple days, on July 1. They picked up on June 28th. That seemed feasible to me...just drive it there...is only 10 hours! No, they took it to a warehouse, unloaded it all, then loaded it back on a Penske rental truck, and delivered it July 4th. I should have known this was a fly by night company when they showed up with a rented truck from Penske! They dint even have enough money to buy their own truck!! So, it gets worse!!

The truck comes late, of course, on the 4th of July. When the driver, Andrew, the same guy from the pick up, brings in my furniture and boxes, I am missing 10 boxes!!! Yes, 10!!! Where do 10 boxes disappear to? Someone helped themselves to my belongings? They were delivered to the wrong house order? I guess I will never know! Then, Andrew promises me to go back to Florida, after his next delivery in Texas, and look for my missing boxes, one of which is the glass top to my table!! After several unanswered phone calls and texts to him, I finally get him on the phone, and he tells me the warehouse is empty, and he didn't know where my boxes are. He says he will have claim department call me. They never call me! I'm frustrated and annoyed! Ron, the owner is a liar! He also tried to tell the movers not to set up my bed, etc, when my things arrived at my house in Birmingham! Who does that?!

I had many arguments with him on the phone! Finally, I just stopped talking to him! I spoke to Bonnie, the sales girl. She is nice. She told me people get upset with Ron, the owner, all the time because he lies!!!!! Andrew, the driver, told me they all lie! He said, " the sales people will lie to make the sale. They will promise you the moon in your living room. When I can't give it to you, you get upset with me." He also told me that Ron is such a liar, and bad business man, that Andrew was finishing his last trip, my load and the trip to Texas, and going back to Florida to quit working fir Ron and Sunrise Van Lines. He said he can't stand how Ron lies, and then, he had to listen to disgruntled customers! I had to go offer a new table top, so I can use my table. I am fine dealing with Ron the liar, and with Sunrise Van Lines! Dint put your previous belongings in the hands of liars!!
