My original agent at Sunshine State Moving Company worked with me with professionalism and courtesy. My property had been in storage at their Norcross GA storage unit while I decided when I wanted delivery to my new residence in California.

I contacted my agent on Aug. 3 to say I was ready for delivery; she emailed me that my things would be on the truck headed to CA on or around Aug. 9. Well, she has quit the company; I had to call myself to find out who my new agent was and my things are still in storage at Norcross GA as of today, Aug. 26.

I hear nothing but excuses about drivers having deaths in the family, and trying to find a driver, and the trucks still having not arrived in Georgia.

On Aug. 21 I finally got a hold of my agent, Sean, although his name is actually Russian, and he told me he would call me in 2 days to give me a date as to when my things would be on a truck. I have heard nothing from him.

I have filed a report with the BBB and the Department of Transportation. 

Because I paid the full amount owed on my credit card as I did not want my friend in Georgia bothered with paying for half with cash or a cashier's check, I am very concerned that they have no motivation to do anything about my move or the delay.

My understanding from my former agent is that she quit for the very reasons I am writing this report. This company is unprofessional, unethical, and should have their license revoked. I also never received The Rights and Responsibilities of the Mover and Moving Customers which by law I should have received.
