i was looking for a truck on the internet on the truck paper site. found a truck on swat repo. dan the owner said this truck had a oil sample of 3.2 and said that was really good 5 was bad and 3 was good. so it made me feel confident in the motor. so i agreed to buy it. dan said to fax him a copy of my check and sign an agreement that he had faxed to me. dan told me to give the driver of the truck who was meeting me in sioux falls the origional check. when i arrived at the truck nobody was there,and i couldn't find the keys it was 8:00 friday night. so i called the swat guy to find out where the keys were and what to do with the check.he told me were the keys were at and not to worry , dan said to mail the check on monday. i drive it home, and it used 4gallons of oil in 300miles. so i send it to gillette diesel college with my son,to find out what is wrong with it.come to find out they had'nt changed the air filters on it,it was half full of dirt. our sons diesel instructor said it was dusted. swat repo wanted me to take it to a cummings dealership, because it was a n14 motor . but all they wanted done was to see if it would start and go into all forward gears and reverse. i asked cummins to check what might be wrong with the motor, they said the motor had 36 blow by and that the motor was shot. i dont know who tested swats oil,but they lied. now 20,000 later, it got over hauled. swat said they would reimberse me 1,200 but many attempts later i have not got. another thing, i didnt know a fax of ones check was vaild , when i called my bank on monday to put money in my account for a truck,the bank said the money was already taken out on friday. dont buy from swat! get in touch with me nd
