I am a business owner and service provider, therefore I get alot of THANK YOU GIFTS at the holday times from them This year one of my customers bought me a 120 ct box of PETIT FOURS (a $65.00 cost) FROM SWISS COLONY Due to the fact that I receive so many gifts< we did not recall who gave us this one in particular.  

WE called  SWISS COLONY, Who we had thought prided themselves on being custermer friendly, fresh merchandise etc,.  However, this is all untrue. The rude and obnoxious customer service rep stated, unless you know who gave you that gift, its TOO BAD THAT ITS STALE.

I pleaded with them that I Had the 120 ct box that could be shipped back to them to prove so, but their response was we don't care, unless you know who gave it  to you you are OUT OF LUCK, WE CAN"T DO ANYTHING BE AWARE WHEN GIVING THIS MERCHANT YOUR MONEY..BEcause if you don't give your receipient a gift receipt the only one who wins is SWISS COLONy

When I told the rude customer service rep that it seems like your company is banking on the end recipient having no knowledge of who gave them the gift  she laughed and said so what This is HORRENDOUS BEHAVIOR FROM AN AMARICAN COMPANY> 

I ALSO SUGGESTED THEY GO OPEN ONE OF THOSE BOXES STILL IN THEIR WHAREHOUSE TO ASCERTAIN THAT THE MERCHANDISE IS STALE AND AGAIN IT WAS MET WITH HER EERY laugh, and response of IT WOULD NOT MATTER IF ALL IN OUR WAREHOUSE ARE BAD, WITHOUT THE PURCHASER's NAME YOU ARE  S-O-L

who can help take them on or who odered a 120 ct petite Four for someone just call in to get your refund because all the chocolate ones in the box are stale and if you don't want to call the maybe i can use your name as my gift giver since i have the stale merchandise

 The odds are pretty good that you were REGIFTED!!! Why would you expect them to do ANYTHING for you with no PROOF OF PURCHASE!!! You claim you are a merchant yet you disreguard one of the most BASIC of business principles. NO RECIEPT, NO RETURN OR EXCHANGE. Ok one of YOUR customers gave you stale chocolate. Its not the company that is was purchased froms fault. Why would you expect THEM to just give you NEW product with no proof that the items did not go stale from sitting in someones closet for a year. Its unrealistic to expect them to do so. So instead of ACCEPTING this small fact, you attempt to make THEM look bad because YOU were given a crappy gift. Isnt the internet wonderful.

Isnt it funny that when YOU a supposed merchant doesnt get your way, that you turn right around and act like one of the PITA customers. Yea remind me not to shop at YOUR business. I have a feeling that I wouldnt enjoy my shopping experience knowing YOU are WORSE then the average customer. YOU show NO RESPECT to another business and YOU want them to give you YOUR WAY even though YOU do not have PROOF OF PURCHASE. How can you claim to be a merchant yet act like this. Nice double standard there buddy. Customer Service starts at home. YOU have to deal with CS issues so you know what you are putting those poor people through. But YOU dont care, YOU just want your way reguardless if they can give it to you or not. And when you do not get your way, you post a negative review. Wheres the negative review over the person who gave you stale items??

Double standards.
