Tax Resolution Services TRS Waste of Time and Money Encino, California

The following is my opinion:

I spent around $18,000.00 with this company. They were very expensive for the service provided. I could have accomplished the same result myself. 

The final straw is that the IRS audited my return they prepared (or more accurately, their subcontractor prepared.) The IRS found they filled out my return incorrectly. Instead of entering tax exempt interest correctly they entered the amount as a negative number in the interest section.  TRS admitted that the error was a problem in the software. As a result I had to pay over $600 more to the IRS. The result of their mistake included about $200 in extra interest and penalties.

Their reply was, "Sorry about the mistake."  No offer to cover the $200 mistake after I spent about $18,000 with them. (Even when I asked.) This is an indication of my entire experience with them.

I suggest you take a handful of cash, set fire and burn it, then talk to the IRS yourself. You will end up saving money.
