i paid off a $340k loan + interest from tcf bank in less then 30 days. loan officer Brad Willis took care of the payoff and stated that i would probably get a credit but instead i receive a bill a month later for an additional $448.00. when i called about it and told them it was paid off, they gave me a line of bull that made no sense. even the loan officer could not give me a good answer. he made an error on the payoff amount and i end up paying for his screw-up. i paid it reluctantly and closed all my accts with TCF. i would never do business with this bank again and warn anybody to NEVER! NEVER trust what a loan officer tells you. i am totally disgusted with this bank and have never been treated like this from any financial institution.
TERRIBLE!!

I feel your pain. I am still trying to figure out why I have a NSF notice for -305.00, yet TCF needed to take my 436.00 check to cover the entire amount.
