#1 Major Issue With Technology Business Solutions and the $2,310 That is Still Owed to us Field Technicians

John Meyer, CEO of Technology Business Solutions reached out to me personally regarding a project in Annapolis, MD and Ocean City, MD that began on August 5th, 2016. This was a long-term project that required 3 technicians to work onsite setting up computers at one of the clients of Technology Business Solutions corporate offices. I thought that this was a great opportunity because the CEO of Technology Business Solutions (John Meyer) is who reached out to me personally to assign this project to my field technicians and I. John Meyer said that only 3 technicians were needed for this project so Chuk, Derrik and Arthur (all A+ Certified Technicians) were staffed as the onsite field technicians for this project. When the project was completed by the staffed field technicians (Chuck, Derrik and Arthur), the client of Technology Business Solutions was very happy with the end results of all the work completed onsite!

After completing the project, the oniste field technicians (Chuck, Derrik and Arthur) were all eager to get paid for the work they completed. I emailed John Meyer (CEO of Technology Business Solutions) the invoice for the $2,310 directly after the completion of the project (August 12th, 2016) via email. After the Annapolis/Ocean City, MD project was completed, I found it difficult to get a hold of John Meyer over the phone as he was always busy for some reason. Instead, John Meyer mainly kept in touch with me via email so all of the following quotes are directly from John Meyer, CEO of Technology Business Solutions. I didn't hear back from John Meyer (CEO of Technology Business Solutions) until August 24th, 2016 when he emailed me the following:

"Aaron

I just checked with my accounting folks, a check was never mailed and I am not sure why. However, I have instructed them to get a check VIA federal express to you by weeks’ end. All open invoices will be paid."

No payment was received by weeks' end, so I called John Meyer multiple times until I finally reached him and he told me: "The accounting department sent the payment to the wrong mailing address." This was upsetting because this was a lie. The fact that this was a lie from the CEO of Technology Business Solutions (John Meyer), is the worst part! How do I know this is a lie? Well prior to this project in Annapolis/Ocean City, MD, I had already received the first very late payment via mail from Technology Business Solutions for 2 projects my field technicians and I had already completed for Technology Business Solutions.

Then John Meyer asked me over the phone if he can send the $2,310 owed to my technicians and I via PayPal. I said yes and gave John my PayPal account info via his email address at jsmeyer@tbsnetworks.net. This is the last I ever heard from John Meyer and no payment was ever sent. John Meyer is deliberately avoiding me now, even though he knows that he owes my field technicians and I $2,310 for the work we have completed for him and his company (Technology Business Solutions). How do I know the CEO of Technology Business Solutions (John Meyer) is avoiding me? I call him every week and hear from his employees that they are currently messaging John Meyer letting him know that I need to speak with him. John Meyer's employee's have in turn told me that John just replied back saying he is aware that I need to speak with him and that John said he will call me back soon. This takes place when I call Technology Business Solutions at +1 (800) 719-8324 on a regular basis and John is in the office, however he won't talk to me or reply to my emails.

What did my field technicians and I learn from this experience:

Through this unfortunate experience of working with John Meyer (CEO of Technology Business Solutions), I have learned that working for his company, Technology Business Solutions is a decision you will regret as both a field technician and a client. My technicians and I never got paid for the work done onsite and according to my lawyer, the next step is to put a mechanics lien on the corporate office that my field technicians and I were working at as representatives of Technology Business Solutions.

My Experience

AUTHOR: James Thompson - (USA)

POSTED: Friday, February 10, 2017

John Meyer hired me to do some IT work for a client of his, located just below the city of Atlanta, Ga, towards the end of 2016. I went there one afternoon, worked with his client to address the items they needed, and then sent Mr Meyer a full report of my visit. Mr Meyer paid me for my time on sight, and even for the time needed to prep for the visit. I would say he's pleasant, and easy to work for, and I look forward to working with him again in the furture.
Thank you,
James Thompson
