teleflora dissatisfied, overcharged, deceitful Internet
Hello, I'm writing to raise awareness on a despotic company that is deceiving average consumers. I received an order for a 40 dollar flower arrangement through Teleflora, which had initially been sold to a customer for 70. After lining several larger businesses pockets and being charged several delivery fees the order made its way to us where we were left scratching our heads and struggling to make an acceptable arrangement. By marketing themselves as flower retailers, Teleflora makes claims of simply expediting your order to other florists for a very convenient and minimal fee. What they neglect to inform the consumer of is their exorbitant overhead mark ups that not only diminish the quality of the product the customer receives, but also makes it extremely difficult for small, family-owned florists to flourish. When faced with high expectations of a finished product and a minimal budget to achieve the end result with, we're left by the wayside with a sub-par product that could have been beautiful if not for the conniving capitalism of a corporate middle-man. Perhaps if the public were made aware of the fraudulence that escorts Telefloras advertising, then local florists and greenhouses would not be left with 31 dollars to finish a product after paying 70 dollars for Teleflora to wire it out and take their cut off of the top.
