I trained with teletech at home on one of their major electronics store accounts. They had technical issues all of the time. The techs would tell me that their servers are always acting up and down. The techs laughed and said that the job would be a joke for me and I would always experience problems because of their crappy computers/servers.
I experienced HOURS of downtime. Unable to work, but required to sit at my computer UNPAID. Teletech only pays for 30 minutes of tech downtime if it is due to their fault and YOUR TEAM LEAD feels like amending Kronos Timekeeping system.
This company will tell you that they have medical benefits for @home employees but they deceive. It is only $50 for a FSA account. Their 401K program is a three percent and three year vested program. IE you get nothing in benefits.
My advice is to stay far away. You are better working as an independent contractor for another company and make better money too. There are also much better companies to work at home for the make you an employee (with REAL benefits, FULL pay)
Stay far away from this company or you will be paying them in the end. I never received pay for my hours worked. Got billed for a REQUIRED headset that I HAD to purchase through THEM.
STAY AWAY BEWARE
PS....They don't have good agents or team leads. Team leads belittle you publicly in chat, call you at home to threaten you, email threats. They have horrible customer agents as well....I never dealt with so many p'od customer's being transferred wrong or spoken badly to. Best Buy will go away.. Trust me..
