Tennessee's Best Title Loans False Advertising! Bait & Hook ploy! Johnson City Tennessee

Called regarding interest in transferring my current vehicle title loan from another company to them. They advertise on the radio they pay up to 100% of the vehicles value, that they transfer loans from other title loan companies, they give you 7% interest, and that they are the area’s best title loan company. I called them the day before on 9-3-13 and spoke to Cynde and told her my vin #, the exact mileage of my vehicle, my name, the amount needed for the other pay-off, asked about the percentage rate 7%, and so forth. She stated that was not a problem for that payoff amount but if I wanted more cash on top of the amount we spoke about that she would need to see the vehicle for that approval.

It is very difficult for my husband to get off but since we were told that it could be done we went including my son with all the things needed to process paperwork & such. After waiting a while we got to hear her put other people down on the phone and was talking about not doing business with a certain lady she finally responded to us. She could not find the paperwork or anything about what we talked about and had to refresh her about it again. After the process of looking at the vehicle then things got weird and fishy. It was "I have to get approval on this & that!"

That's not what she stated the day before! While we waited I asked how much interest & payments would be. The best she could do was 10.9% not 7%! She did not get the approval she had said we would get from "Head Office". Once she knew we weren't going to get the approval she started to chat with the person from head office about who left as an employee and even said "s**t" right there in front of not only my husband and I but our son! Very unprofessional!

Again they claim to pay up to 100% of the vehicles value but they did not even come close to that with my vehicle. They were loaning such a small amount on my car that I took a double take and had to hear it again. I voiced my opinion about why she said yes the day before had us come in and then change her mind or the rules! I also told her how unprofessional this all was. No title loan company is a good idea but beware of this new group…I say when all the luster of having that cash in your hand & your late or life happens her her/companies claws will come out! They state things but they do not follow through on it…Beware!
