Texas Direct Auto claims to be the worlds largest internet dealer.  They advertise vehicles through their website and also Ebay.  Texas Auto sells you on their quality control of the vehicles condition by a points system.  They label each vehicle from 0 to 85 points.  85 points means the car is in exeptional condition.   I was in the market for a Chevy Z06 Corvette.  I found this car at several dealerships across the country through the internet.  Texas Direct Auto sold me on thiscar because they said the vehicle condition hd a rating of 93 points which they explained was practically a showroom condition car with "0" defects on the entire car.  I purchased the car aftr they explained this to me.  I had them ship the car to my town in Willow Street PA.  They gave me a date that it would be delivered.  They said if the date would change that the shipping company would contact me.  The day it was to be delivered it never came.  I called the shipping company and they didnt return my call.  I was scheduled to be out of town the day after the car was to be delivered.  The shipping company ended up delivery the cat 2 days later with out notice while I was out of town.  My wife had to take delivery of this car.  She doesnt have much experience in what to look for when a car is delivered.  She signed the Bill of Laden.

When I returned from my trip I had the chance to inspect the car for the firt time.  The car wasnt even close t the condition as described on their report.  The front passnger side fender has deep sratches down to the bare metal.  The paint was chipped in about 15 different areas.  I contacted the Dealer andthey assured me that they would look into this matter.  1 wee go by and they still havent returned my call.  I demanded to talk to a manager.  The manager told me that she would have a resolution b the end of the day. The manager never called Back.  I continued emailing and calling the manager for over a week.  I finally spoke with another manager and they instructed me to get 2 estimates and sen pictures for them to view.  I did th the same day.  The estmates ranged from $1500 to $3000 for the repairs to be fixed.  I waited another week with no emails or phone calls to guide me on their intensions.  I called again for several days until Ifinally spoke with a manager.  They said they will only pay $250 towards the damages.  They also said they will not release my registration stuff for me to get a permanate tag untillI igned a Release waiver for all claims against them.

I am so pissed at this point.  I paid them $54,000 for a car and all other fee's for the registration and Tags.  Now they wont give me my Regisatration stuff bec ause I refuse to accept their offer of $250 and to sign the Rlease of Claioms doc.  Thi company is the most Fraudulan and misleading firm I have ever dealt with.  They promise you the world and when they get the money they fail to stand behind their word.  I want this company exposed.  The consumor needs to be on ntice of the Fraudulant practices that Texas Direct Auto does.  If you are considering purchasing a vehicle from the internet from this firm I wouldnt do it. They know that since you physically didnt see the vehicle before you purchased it tat you will not return the vehicle.

i highly suggest you decide what you want done.  Do you want the car repaired or returned?  Look in your paperwork that was sent to you.  Every dealer in Texas makes you sign a document in regards to mediation vs going to court. One you find that document take what ever steps you need to take to go to mediation.  You bought a 54k toy I'm sure you can fly to Texas for one day.  Go to mediation with the condition report that the dealer had of the car and with estimates the damage. Tell them what you want to remedy the situation and it will happen.  I have worked at enough dealers to tell you this is how you recover your money.  Phone calls and emails are a waste of time.  They are hoping you go away.  This is only opinion, good luck.

You sent your money off to buy this car and as per your exact words, the FIRST time you inspected it was AFTER you paid for it!!!  I'm impressed!  Throw common sense out the window all for a stupid car!  This is exactly why P. T. Barnum said, "A sucker is born every minute!"
