As much as I wanted to believe that Texaspcgeeks.com
was really looking for some help.... I got screwed. I was promised the world by Jacob Vander, or Jacovee Vanderbrown, or Jacovy Vanderbrown, I'm not sure who to really point the finger at. Anyways, my job was to start growing the explosive business, hire more techs, work on seo for the company website, and start scheduling techs to save time and money.
Needless to say, after only a couple days, I never got any tech information, had showed Jake how to implement all sorts of SEO into his website (which by the way was an exact copy of "http://www.geekchoice.com
" seriously compare them " http://www.texaspcgeeks.com" I wanted to believe Jake about how good the company was doing and how he needed help to keep growing right up until the moment I saw he had links directly linking to http://www.geekchoice.com
on "Our Website" that I was supposed to be optimizing. I raised a question..... Who is "http://www.geekchoice.com"....
It was that night that I was no longer an asset to the team. It just wasn't going to work out....I just didn't work hard enough to stay part of the team... Now I regret all the work I put into the website that was obviously stolen word for word from http://www.geekchoice.com/... I honestly did not realize or have any reason to suspect that I had been working on a site stolen word for word from a competitor.
I can remember....our company goals were to build the company up - Jake had built from sweat and tears - into a company we could franchise next year. I didn't realize that he was trying to build an established franchise under his own name. My bad for responding to such a good Craigslist ad. Beware, Texaspcgeeks.com is a fly by night, one man show, stolen from a proven franchise business plan. Another Ripoff Report
on Jacob Vander. It made a lot of sense what I read after the fact about this guy, he has done his research and a little work to look legit. Here are a few of the current Places to beware of: http://aviascape.com/ http://radarfrog.gatehousemedia.com/Houston-TX/Aviascape-Technologies-B9J0352840/ http://texaspcgeeks.com/
All of these are from a previous ripoff report:

I don't want to talk bad about anybody who actually works and wants to earn an honest days living, but the fact that I did that and found out I got Dupped by a professional con artist makes it kinda hard to swallow. I just want to keep other people from falling into the same trap by this smooth talking businessman (liar) read up on him.
