These idiots from Arizona Republic they keep delivering
newspaper to my house and I never ask for their stupid newspaper. I call the Arizona Republic customer service telephone number and they don't do nothing. It sound like a call centre in India. I call the phoenix number for distribution centre and the people very rude to me and no want to solve problem.

In meantime newspapers keep coming. I drive truck to California and am away from house for seven day sometimes, when I come back to my house there are seven newspaper in front yard. Every body see that no one is home. It miricle that they don't steal inside my house yet.

But people at Arizona Republic no care.

I don't know what number you were calling -- but there is absolutely no way that you called the Arizona Republic and got an "Indian" call center -- the only call center that the Arizona Republic has is based in central Phoenix -- and there is no one that works in the Call Center that is Indian or has an Indian accent even...everyone who works there is either American or Spanish-speaking American -- there has never been a call center anywhere other than right here in Phoenix.

I just wanted to rebut that one specific part of this complaint -- the rest of it, well, there is a good chance it is true -- but I would like to say that berating a call center associate is going to get you nowhere because we actually do our job, it's the managers and carriers that don't do a d**n thing about the problems that are arising -- so next time you want to call in and yell at someone, just ask for a manager because if you start off extremely rude to someone who doesn't know you, doesn't deliver your paper, and has no way of talking to your carrier then you aren't going to be helped because that is wrong --

it is the Republics policy to have 3 complaints before anything is sent to a manager -- and if you don't get the paper all they can do is send a message to the carrier to remind them that they are delivering the paper to the wrong house -- that is ALL that the call center can do -- it is also the policy that phone numbers are NOT given out to customers, nor addresses, not even extension numbers can be given out.

If you get a collection notice...believe me, it is legitimate -- and to save yourself the hassle, you might as well pay it because no amount of claiming that you haven't recieved the 5 notices that were sent to the address on your account or old account is going to do you absolutely no good, they don't care -- and if you ignore it, then you will have a measely 15-30 show up on your credit report after 6 months of ignoring the first notice --

I know all this because I am quitting this company -- y do you ask? Because of their hiring practices...they lie to you to get you to work for them -- but having been one of the people that gets yelled at every day as if it is my fault that the company I happen to get a job with doesn't know how to bill correctly or take care of its customers I can at least say that some of these complaints are unwarranted -- and just because someone works in the call center doesn't mean they are stupid or retarded...it means that they are going to school full time and have a child to take care of and they need the money so they have decided to take verbal abuse from people they don't know about things that they can't do anything about -- Who cares if you have missed your precious paper two times in 10 years!! Give me a break, the world didn't end!!
