I'm writing this for my concern for The ATP (And WTA). Long since have i suspected that The ATP are just an eloborate betting scam. The ATP tennis is the most bet on sport in the world. Bookmakers literally take millions on millions of dollars on betting everyday. (The ATP runs 11 months of the year). So there is a huge incentive for bookmakers and The ATP to work together.

Why do i say this? The ATP Australia open 2013 - Tommy Robredo won against Rodger Federer. As Federer was only paying 1.10 or below HUGE amounts of money was required to win even the smallest amount. Independent reports at the time suggested that over 100 million worth of bets were placed on Federer. If you watched the game, Federer for some reason looked like he was throwing the game which leads me to think that it was fixed.

A report on the match "In two hours and 25 minutes, Tommy Robredo of Spain put himself on the tennis map with a straigt sets win onver the dominant name in men's tennis, Rodger Federer, 1-5 (3), 6-3, 6-4.

Robredo, the 19th seed, had not defeated Federer in 11 meetings over 11 years. Robredo played well, but it helped that Federer played poorly, hitting a surprising number of his shots out of bounds.

-Washington Post

As this report suggets, it would seem that Federer threw the game, I see this happen consistantly, however, this one stands out most. I know this sounds like I should be wearing a tin-foil hat but The ATP scam makes alot of sense to me
